CNN: Childless women under 30 in most of the country have a higher median income than their male counterparts, according to a census analysis by market researcher James Chung. (The women are “creaming” the men, are his exact words.) You should step out into the job market feeling confident. But before you do, here are a few critical skills to master: ………
So apparently women all get their period at the same time in high school, it’s when their math class was on the statistics chapter. All I hear in political debates about women is how they are treated unfair, blah, blah, blah. Well women, here’s one statistic you didn’t account for. Read the first line of that quote. Childless women under 30 make more then men. Once you have a baby, men start making more, and for a good reason. Women go on maternity leave and “telework” or don’t work at all. Men still go to work.
Listen ladies, I love you. But I can’t remember the last time a woman came and mowed my lawn, or fixed my cable, or did anything that requires them to get their hands dirty. Women seem to think that they are more entitled to cushy air-conditioned office jobs than men, and this is the type of thinking that completely killed chivalry. You want equality, you have to earn it.
My grandfather parachuted into Normandy in the middle of the night probably praying to God that he gets to the ground before a bullet hits him. 101st Airborne. Can’t remember the last time I heard a story about a woman doing that. You want your “We Can Do It” WWII poster? Fine. It’s cute. But recognize the fact that going from homemaking to manufacturing isn’t much to brag about when the men went from manufacturing to trying to hold the line from suicidal human-wave attacks from sake-crazed Japanese soldiers.
