Daily News: A Florida doctor claimed Friday that Castro had suffered a massive stroke that left him unable to speak, recognize anyone or fend for himself.
“He suffered an embolic stroke and recognizes absolutely no one,” Marquina told the Miami-based Spanish-language paper El Nuevo Herald.
“People with a condition of this nature have difficulty eating and, of course, they end up with total deficit in their neurologic capacities.”
I would never wish death on anybody. But the death of Fidel Castro will bring about the close of a major chapter in world history. Since Fidel Castro is one of like 10 remaining people that believe communism could actually work, his death will probably be celebrated by most, but I still get the feeling that he will end up being Time Magazine’s Man of the Year. You heard it here first folks.
