CNN: A lot of things can go wrong in life that you can plan for, but some are just too far-fetched to bother with — or so you’d think. Just ask the man who stole a trailer from outside a Florida home, unconcerned about the small plane buzzing overhead.
Turns out the pilot of the single-engine Cessna was the home owner who just happened to be flying by when he spotted the theft in progress.
“We watched him just walk out right in front of us,” David Zehntner, the homeowner, recounted Tuesday. “Two or three times, he literally looked up at us. At one point, he even stood with his hands on his hips and looked up at us.”
So this guy is flying is prop plane over his ranch down in Florida. And he catches a guy peeping his house. Guy drives up in a pickup truck, checks out the house, looking in all the windows and shit, then steals a trailer, hooking it up to the back of his truck and leaving. The pilot followed the guy for miles until he was able to land. Called the police, police arrested the guy. Great story.
But did any of you think to yourselves “hmm, I wonder what state this occurred in…” Me neither. I knew right away this was Florida. I don’t know how I knew it, but I knew it. It’s always Florida. Florida as I see it is basically a bunch of hicks, Cubans, and northern Jews and Italians who moved down there to retire. Another demographic is just the regular northerner who moved down there to buy their insanely cheap property and put the actual Floridians out on their asses. Just Florida man.
