ESPN: Kentucky offered a scholarship to seventh-grader Jairus Brents on Thursday after the 13-year-old participated in a football camp at the university this past weekend.
While the offer might cause shockwaves across the college football and recruiting platforms, it is not much reason for celebration for Brents, a Class of 2018 cornerback from Indiana.
“It’s not a big deal. It’s just an offer,” Brents said.
The best part is how the kid says “it’s not a big deal, it’s just an offer.” At least he’s modest. Or a fucking asshole. You know he’s going to slay when he gets to high school. He’ll be blowing lines off the hottest cleavage in the school. The area in between the boobs was biologically actually meant for doing lines of blow by star athletes, in case you didn’t know.
This seventh grader gets a fucking full ride to college despite not even taking Algebra 101. This is the problem with education in colleges. It’s fucking dumbed down by athletes. The fact that Allen Iverson went to Georgetown blows my fucking mind. They let stupid idiots who can run fast and jump high into an ACADEMIC institution while rejecting other, more qualified kids. It’s fucked. I personally hope this fucking kid blows out his knee in practice the last day of his senior year so that he can regret never fucking studying at all ever during high school. I hope he ends up bagging my fucking groceries.
